Sweet Land of Liberty
March 12th, 2010Of thee I sing! San Francisco is getting doused with rain, so to counteract that, I’ve got florals on the brain! (Whoa, I just rhymed.) The new Liberty of London for Target collection debuts Sunday, and everyone’s pretty dang excited, including me (all personal feelings aside about Target–the fast fashion, the massive use of PVC in products…). It’s hard to deny the cuteness of these products, especially these clutches below, which would make great gifts for bridesmaids.
But, here’s an idea: how about supporting small businesses instead, starting with these Liberty of London-inspired products, like the one below. The Etsy seller, H & J Star Creations, is even using an authentic Liberty of London print! And the price can’t be beat either, at $17.50–which is about what the Target clutches are retailed at. And you’ll have something that no one else will have–how about that?
