Borrow This Idea: Chalkboards!
March 16th, 2010I recently met with one of my clients, Colby, and found a fellow chalkboard aficionado! We talked at length about painting plywood with chalkboard paint to go along with my chalkboard stands, her hand-painted signs and in general, create more signage since we’ll be using so much of her venue. She also wants a homemade photo booth as well, and we’ll need signage there too, since it’s self-serve.
I was jumping for joy inside because a) I love chalkboards and b) because I have seen this put to great use, most notably by Jung Lee of Fete. See all her examples below, from her awesome wedding coffee table book.
And finally a chalkboard graffiti wall that can function as an untraditional sign in for guests. So, so fun.
