Now this, is impressive. Get the how-to here.  The baker parsed out seven bowls and added one more drop of green food coloring to each succeeding bowl to get the gradation. Next she baked the bowls, let the rounds cool, then stacked and slathered. Cool, right? Seems labor intensive, but wouldn’t it be a fun display cake at the reception?

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I’ll be making these cupcakes for an Irish-themed dinner tonight with friends…
