Jenny Yoo, I Presume?

Well readers, the great mystery surrounding the maker of the dress in the Target Club Wedd ad has been solved. Turns out it’s a beaut by one of my fave wedding lines, Jenny Yoo! It’s called the “Paige” and it’s quite the bargain. The silk shantung in white or off-white starts at $450 and the silk taffeta comes in off-white only and starts at $525.

Budget-friendly, classic lines, flattering for most body types… and pockets! It’s a win-win all around.

Bicycle Thursday returns! With this sweet wedding at the Healdsburg Country Gardens, in Healdsburg, Calif. Coincidentally my clients Jamie and Rebecca will be married there August 8! Can’t wait. There’s gonna be a lot of sustainable elements, local food and DIY galore. Stay tuned!

Love how this wedding incorporated bikes into their wedding–they met while one of them was biking in Tiburon and the boy asked for directions. Cute!

Station Break

It’s been a rough couple of weeks that have been a series of high (my birthday) and low (the passing of my beloved grandfather, Buddy).

Loss always begs introspection. And that’s where I am, evaluating the pace and quality of my life and how much time I give to things, like this blog. Don’t get me wrong, I love my blog and the joys of it, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say it was hard work and that I wasn’t up clicking and posting and pasting into the wee hours.

Lily Spruce has been an enormous creative outlet. And the blog extension of my business will continue to be that as well. But for now, I want my posts to inspire. I want to keep reposting at a minimum. I want to come up with original content you won’t find anywhere else.

And that will take some time. So I ask that you bear with me as I take this path and figure out what that means and what it will look and sound like. Posts may be sparse until then so hang tight, we’ll get there.

And in the meantime, if you’d like to drop me a note about what you’ve enjoyed reading here, please DO.
