Reflecting on Love + Diversity

A lot has happened this month, and we here wanted to take some time to truly reflect while a new world unfolds.

As a 100% minority- and woman-owned business, (3 women of color and 1 Caucasian woman) we hang our hat on diverse celebrations. Diverse cultures. Diverse races. The beauty of what we do and the kind of things we get to create are rooted in universality, compassion, and togetherness.

There is no room for discrimination in this world, or the weddings and events industry, and we are committed and reinvigorated by our values to ensure we celebrate diversity always, everywhere. And speak up for any lack of it, loudly.

As a brown woman in a white industry, I’ve been fully aware of my place in it, for 10 years. It has always been my goal to hold myself to high standards but to also act, say, join, and wear things that make me and my business blend in. Assimilate. No longer.

We plan events for rule breakers, period. If you are new to us and visiting for the first time, you should know that we never want your wedding to be branded as ours. We aim to celebrate you as a couple, in all your being, manifested in a once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

We will continue to create and celebrate diversity together. We embrace you rule breakers, change makers, and romantic revolutionaries. Love is the answer. And we will be by your side to make it so.
