A Very San Franciscan Wedding with Sweeping Bay Views at Fort Mason General's Residence

What do you do with a couple this adorable, with varied interests and occupations but are unsure of the general design vision and flow to weddings?

Counsel and advise, and then counsel and advise some more. We often tell clients when it comes to design, that knowing what you DON’T like versus knowing what you do, is very telling, and very helpful. Seriously!

And Marisa and Trevor did that, and we let them guide us.

What was created was something focused on family, intimate, and warm. You can tell they are rocks among their family and friends and very inclusive and welcoming. We were also so crazy impressed with how Trevor and Marisa handled the weather at the historic Fort Mason General’s Residence in San Francisco. We got some fierce wind off the water and these two hung in there, smiling all the way through.

But nothing could faze them or their guests as the ceremony unfolded with the gorgeous Aquatic Park views behind them.

Post-ceremony guests hit the lawn for games as the snacked on appetizers from one of our favorite San Francisco caterers, Fogcutter. A delicious meal was served, and guests were treated to amazing cookies by another San Francisco vendor, Anabel of Frolic & Detour Bakery. Anabel was also a guest!

Two friends played a guitar and the crowd kicked their heels up to the deejay, going WILD when some boy band classics came on. All through the night, Trevor and Marisa had permanent smiles on their faces—as if there were never intense winds blown across them earlier.
